Doctor Who Mastermind

In terms of my capabilities in setting questions I’d like to limit the General Knowledge questions to the televised incarnations of the show i.e. The Classic Series (1963-89), The TV Movie (1996) and the New Series (2005-).

Within this you can pick any specialist subject, as wide ranging or as specific as you like. A few examples would be; Jon Pertwee’s Era; The 1960’s period; Daleks Stories etc.

Questions would fall into two broad categories, either relating to the happenings within the narrative of the show or behind the scenes production trivia. If you’d rather stick to one type of question within your specialist subject, then please let me know.

If you would like to pick a specialist subject outside the realms of the TV show, e.g. The Virgin New Adventures, The Big Finish Audios etc, then point me in the direction of a knowledgeable person who’d be willing to set some questions for you.

If you feel that your Doctor Who knowledge is really limited to your specialist subject and you only want to tackle that and not do the General Knowledge round, then we can just do that as your entry.

If you are just a New Series or Classic Series fan then you can pick your specialist subject from that part of the show and general knowledge will just cover the New or Classic series.

There are various ways that we can do this so I’ll start with the simplest, and the one that will require the least effort from you.

1. 1. I can record the whole conversation from my end and put it together as a podcast from that.
   

2. 2. If you have the capability to record at your end then we’d be able to get a much clearer copy of your audio which I could then edit together.
   

3. 3. Even better if you had the capability of filming your end of the conversation we could then do a video podcast version of your bit.

1. 1. I’d be willing to call you through Skype if your phone was located in any of the global rate areas for Skype coverage. See here for details.

1. 1. I can even ring you on your mobile if you live within the UK and record you from that.

All you need to enter is access to Skype or a phone, if you want to go further in improving the quality of the show you can take any of the steps outlined above.
